Cray Mingla

Doctor Mingla was one of the galaxy's foremost innovators in artificial intelligence and had been a student of Stinna Draesinge Sha. Cray was very cultured and remained impeccably groomed and updated on the latest fashion trends.

Cray will actively seek to be tested for Force sensitivity. She arrives at Luke Skywalker's Jedi academy and Luke confirmed she is indeed Force-sensitive. She goes through Jedi training and becames a Jedi Knight.

Cray soon announces that she has been diagnosed with Quannot's Syndrome, an inherited disease. She continues her Jedi training, practicing hard in the mornings. During the night, she uses hypnosis and drug therapies to stay awake and does research to try and find a cure. Her expertise in the field had earned her a doctorate at the prestigious Magrody Institute. She eventually manages to transfer the bacterium of the disease into forbidden Ssi-ruuk technology. Hoping to study the disease and find a cure later on to help others that may have it.

Both Jedi Knights accompany Luke Skywalker and Callista Ming on his mission to sabotage Supreme Leader Chloe Skywalkers New Empire. The three Jedi were forced to split up and Cray was captured by Chloe's servants. Severely beaten and not likely to survive Cray realizes that her spirit is leaving her body and so Cray gives her own body to the spirit of Callista, as she wants Callista and Luke to be happy. So she sacrifices her life to be one with the force.

Cray Mingla is one of the first students of the restored Jedi Academy to die.
